Rules for entering Montana

Rules for Entering MONTANA 1. Pull up your droopy pants. You look like an idiot. 2. Let's get this straight; it's called a "gravel road". I drive a pickup truck because I need to. No matter how slow you drive, you're going to get dust on your Lexus. Drive it or get out of the way. 3. They are horses, cattle, saw mills & oil wells. That's what they smell like to you. They smell like jobs to us. Get over it. Don't like it? I-90 and I-94 go East and West, I-15 goes North and South. Pick one. 4. So you have a $60,000 dollar car. We're impressed. We have quarter-million dollar, air conditioned tractors that we drive 3 weeks a year. 5. So every person, in every pickup truck, waves. It's called being friendly, try to understand the concept. 6. If that cell phone rings while a flock of geese is coming in, we will shoot the phone out of your hand. You better hope you don't have it up to your ear. 7. Yeah, we eat walleye & rainbow trout. You really want sushi & caviar? It's available at the corner bait shop. 8. The "Opener" refers to the first day of deer season. It's a religious holiday, held the closest Sunday to the first of November. 9. In Montana, it is not trendy and is considered very, very unsafe to criticize the USA. God bless John Wayne, Elvis Presley, Audey Murphy, Cary Grant, Charlton Heston, and Jimmy Stewart but the rest of Hollywood is not welcome here. 10. No, there is not a "vegetarian special" on the menu. Order steak or you can order the Chef's Salad and pick off the 2 pounds of ham & turkey. 11. When we fill out a table, there are three main dishes: meats, POTATOES, and breads. We use three spices: salt, pepper, and Alpine Touch. 12. You bring "coke" into my house, it better be brown, wet, & served over ice. You bring "Mary Jane" into my house, she better be cute, know how to shoot, drive a truck, and have long hair. 13. High School Football is as important here as the Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks--And more fun to watch. 14. Colleges? Try Montana State or the University of Montana. They come out of there with an education--Plus a love for God and country. 15. We have a higher percentage of folks in the Navy, Army, Marines,& Air Force than any other state, so "Don't Mess with Montana." If you do, it will get your a** kicked. 16. Many of us are loggers, mill workers, ranchers & miners. For well over a century, we have helped supply beef for your tables, metals for cars, coal for electricity, wood for your homes & paper to wipe your sissy a**es. Don't come here and tell us to stop working so you can re-make the whole State into your own no-hunting park. 17. Remember, you came here because Montana is different. It will be kept that way. We don't need or want more shopping malls, housing developments or juice bars. 18. Don't try to use your imported money to re-make Montana into the image of where you just left. If you feel this need, go back home. And yes we do hate you for buying up all of our lake-front properties. 19. Above all, if you are a lawyer or anti-gun nut, just stay away. We are very aware of the fact that attorneys have created a major industry out of lawsuits & babying criminals with guns. We are hunters and responsible gun lovers. 20. P.S.--Grizzlies are eagerly encouraged to eat out-of-staters. AMEN....

Merry Christmas!

Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year and the one icon that symbolizes Christmas more than anything else, Santa Claus. The faith of a child says it all and I would like to share with you one of the most memorable editorials ever written. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
quote: Francis P. Church's editorial, "Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus"
Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus
Editorial Page, New York Sun, 1897 We take pleasure in answering thus prominently the communication below, expressing at the same time our great gratification that its faithful author is numbered among the friends of The Sun: I am 8 years old. Some of my little friends say there is no Santa Claus. Papa says, "If you see it in The Sun, it's so." Please tell me the truth, is there a Santa Claus? Virginia O'Hanlon
Virginia, your little friends are wrong. They have been affected by the skepticism of a sceptical age. They do not believe except what they see. They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible by their little minds. All minds, Virginia, whether they be men's or children's, are little. In this great universe of ours, man is a mere insect, an ant, in his intellect as compared with the boundless world about him, as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole of truth and knowledge.
Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus! It would be as dreary as if there were no Virginias. There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The external light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished. Not believe in Santa Claus! You might as well not believe in fairies. You might get your papa to hire men to watch in all the chimneys on Christmas eve to catch Santa Claus, but even if you did not see Santa Claus coming down, what would that prove? Nobody sees Santa Claus, but that is no sign that there is no Santa Claus. The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but that's no proof that they are not there. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world. You tear apart the baby's rattle and see what makes the noise inside, but there is a veil covering the unseen world which not the strongest man, nor even the united strength of all the strongest men that ever lived could tear apart. Only faith, poetry, love, romance, can push aside that curtain and view and picture the supernal beauty and glory beyond. Is it all real? Ah, Virginia, in all this world there is nothing else real and abiding.
No Santa Claus?Thank God he lives and lives forever. A thousand years from now, Virginia, nay 10 times 10,000 years from now, he will continue to make glad the heart of childhood. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

LAW IS THE LAW !

This is one of the better e-mails I have received in a long time! I hope this makes its way around the USA several times over!!!!! So Be It!
THE LAW IS THE LAW
So if the US government determines that it is against the law for the words "under God" to be on our money, then, so be it.
And if that same government decides that the "Ten Commandments" are not to be used in or on a government installation, then, so be it.
I say, "so be it," because I would like to be a law abiding US citizen.
I say, "so be it," because I would like to think that smarter people than I are in positions to make good decisions.
I would like to think that those people have the American public's best interests at heart. BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I'D LIKE?
Since we can't pray to God, can't Trust in God and cannot post His Commandments in Government buildings, I don't believe the Government and its employees should participate in the Easter and Christmas celebrations which honor the God that our government is eliminating from many facets of American life.
I'd like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter. After all, it's just another day.
I'd like the "US Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter as well as Sundays." After all, it's just another day.
I'd like the Senate and the House of Representatives to not have to worry about getting home for the "Christmas Break." After all it's just another day.
I'm thinking that a lot of my taxpayer dollars could be saved, if all government offices & services would work on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter. It shouldn't cost any overtime since those would be just like any other day of the week to a government that is trying to be "politically correct." In fact....
I think that our government should work on Sundays (initially set aside for worshipping God...) because, after all, our government says that it should be just another day.... What do you all think????
If this idea gets to enough people, maybe our elected officials will stop giving in to the "minority opinions" and begin, once again, to represent the "majority" of ALL of the American people. SO BE IT...........
Please Dear Lord, Give us the help needed to keep you in our country! 'Amen' and 'Amen' Touche!
These are definitely things I never thought about but from now on, I will be sure to question those in government who support these changes.

The passing of a very dear friend

This coming week a very dear friend is going to pass away. When someone close to you passes away, a sense of loss and extreme sadness takes hold as we try to come to terms with our grief. We will mourn our friend but we will also remember the great times we had with our friend.
The friend I am talking about is our UO server. Those of you that have been with us since the beginning, come down memory lane and remember the great times our friend provided us with. The early days when the server was full 24/7 with players from all over the globe and the gunfire echoed throughout the land.
Remember the different custom maps we had, the gun and run favorites and the sniper heaven maps. The list of new custom maps we played that are too numerous to list and the sheer joy we had exploring them for the first time with our dear friend. Remember the steady progression of mods we tried and the fun we had with each new version of the AWE mod from the beginning of the mod to the final version we now have.
Our dear friend was meeting place were we met players from all over the world and became friends with them and then asked them to become even closer friends with us. Remember those days when life was hectic and you wanted to go somewhere where everyone knew your name and have a little fun, our dear friend was there. No matter what time of the day or night, our dear friend welcomed you with open arms and your friends were there waiting for you. Alas, as time went on, our lives grew apart and different paths we chose. Now, like a dear friend that has moved across the country, we rarely see our dear friend now. Sometimes we pick up that phone and call our friend and relive those memories for a short time but those times are getting less frequent now and the gap is growing further and futher apart as we live our lives along different pathes.
So, pick up that phone and relive some of those memories while you have time and join us for some memories of the fun that was CoD UO one last time. On April 20th, the UO server will be shut down for the last time like a favorite pet we have put to sleep with only memories and some screenshots to remember our dear old friend.
